Meet up in Mainz
The first event of the year for ISSA EMEA members in Germany takes place 14 October. The three-hour event will provide members and potential members the chance to network with each other and meet ISSA EMEA Director Dianna Steinbach and her staff.  ISSA/INTERCLEAN Istanbul Rescheduled
ISSA/INTERCLEAN Istanbul 2016, originally scheduled for 7-9 September, 2016, has been rescheduled to 18-20 October, 2017. After careful deliberation, the organizers have made the decision to postpone the event, citing rising concerns from exhibitors and visitors regarding travel in and out of Turkey as the chief motive.
Expanding Associations
Members of the National Cleaning Suppliers Association (NCSA), the leading cleaning-industry association of Australia, recently voted to merge with ISSA. Under terms of the agreement, NCSA members will retain their NCSA memberships on a local level, but those memberships will expand to include global ISSA membership and benefits.
ISSA also is in exploratory talks with the UK Housekeepers Association (UKHA) concerning a strategic partnership. A successful outcome of the talks between ISSA and UKHA would see the two associations collaborating to redefine cleaning standards within the hospitality sector.
