I came across this article outlining the triple bottom-line. Stephen Ashkin, the founder of the Green Cleaning network, explains how people tend to confuse green and sustainability. You will find that sustainability encompasses a three-fold tier, which includes green. In order for an organization to be complete in their process, they must sustain by becoming green that is taking care of the planet by using environmentally safe products, equipment, and solutions. In addition, they must take care of their people, by offering compatible wages and health insurance and making a profit. He goes on to mention transparency as being key in the performance of the organization. This is by reporting the business operations and how things are really done to sustain the company.

Check out his article here and see the true difference between green and sustainability…

May the force be with you!
