14 ISSA Members Ranked Among Fortune’s Most Admired

Fourteen ISSA-member companies have been included in Fortune magazine’s annual list of the most admired companies in the world.

Fortune and global management consulting firm Hay Group compiled the list by surveying top executives, directors, and financial analysts and identifying companies with the strongest reputations within and across industries.

Procter & Gamble, parent company of Procter & Gamble Professional, ranked fourth in the soaps and cosmetics category and 19th overall. Colgate-Palmolive Co.  and Henkel AG & Co. KGaA, parent company of Dial Professional, also ranked in the soaps and cosmetics category, coming in third and sixth place, respectively. 3M was named the second most admired in the medical products and equipment category and the 23rd overall.

Sealed Air Corp., parent company of Sealed Air Diversey Care, claimed the top spot in the packaging and containers category. Sodexo ranked second in the diversified outsourcing services category, while Aramark and Cintas Corp. placed fifth and sixth in that category, respectively. Illinois Tool Works, parent company of ITW Professional Brands, was ranked fourth in the industrial machinery category.

W.W. Grainger, Inc. led the wholesaler category, while Ecolab, Inc. came in third in the chemicals category. Johnson Controls, Inc. placed sixth in motor vehicle parts, and Newell Brands, parent company of Rubbermaid Commercial Products, ranked sixth in the home equipment category. CBRE Group, Inc. placed fourth in the real estate division.
