3M Increases 3rd-Quarter Sales 6%

3M has reported fiscal-third-quarter sales of US$8.2 billion, or $2.58 per share, up 6 percent from one year earlier.
Sales in the company’s industrial segment increased 6.2 percent to $2.8 billion during the third quarter, while its health care division increased quarterly sales 7.7 percent. 3M reported earnings of $1.4 billion, or $2.33 per share, an increase of 8.4 percent versus the third quarter of last year.
