3M Reports 4th-Quarter Earnings Growth

3M has reported fiscal-fourth-quarter earnings of US$1.16 billion, or $1.88 per share, up from $1.04 billion, or $1.66 per share, one year earlier.
The company’s total revenue rose 0.4 percent to $7.33 billion. Sales in the company’s industrial segment climbed 3 percent to $2.5 billion during the fourth quarter, while its safety and graphics division increased quarterly sales 2.2 percent.
