ABM Recertifies to CIMS-GB With Honors

ABM Healthcare has successfully completed recertification to the ISSA Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS) and CIMS-Green Building (CIMS-GB) criteria with Honors. In addition, ABM’s application for certification marked the first time ISSA has been able to record 100 percent completion and documentation by a company for both mandatory and standard compliances.
To earn CIMS recertification, ABM underwent a comprehensive assessment by an accredited CIMS assessor. During the assessment, ABM demonstrated its compliance with the five core principles of the standard: quality systems; service delivery; human resources; health, safety, and environmental stewardship; and management commitment.
Compliance with the CIMS-GB criteria illustrates ABM’s commitment to delivering green and sustainable cleaning programs. The CIMS-GB designation helps ABM provide its customers with precisely what they need to secure points under the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance―or LEED EB: O&M―Green Building Rating System, while greening operations overall.
This marks the fourth time ABM has completed recertification to the CIMS program.
