ACI Announces SNAP Award Winner

Students at Kittitas Secondary School in Kittitas, WA, were named the winners of the 2018 Healthy Schools, Healthy People, It’s a SNAP National Award.
The annual award is a collaborative initiative between the American Cleaning Institute (ACI) and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) to promote handwashing through the School Network for Absenteeism Prevention (SNAP). The Kittitas students developed a video and poster using their school’s mascot encouraging proper hand hygiene. As the winners of the award, the students and their faculty adviser traveled to Washington, DC, to meet with their Congressional representatives and ACI staff.
