Alabama School District Contracts ABM to Cut Energy Costs

ABM Facility Services has secured an energy performance contract with Boaz City Schools in Boaz, AL.
The contract calls for ABM to upgrade six school district facilities with updated HVAC and lighting control systems by May 2019. Based on current energy prices, the deal is expected to reduce the facilities’ energy consumption and save the school district more than US$6.8 million in energy and operating costs during the next 15 years. Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.
