Allied Universal Expands Security Offerings With $1 Billion Deal

Allied Universal has acquired U.S. Security Associates from Goldman Sachs Merchant Banking Division for US$1 billion.
The transaction includes U.S. Security’s international division, Andrews International, which has operations in Latin America, Canada, and the United Kingdom, The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to be finalized by the end of September.
