Aramark Acquires Two Suppliers

Aramark has acquired Avendra LLC and AmeriPride Services, Inc. in two separate transactions valued at more than US$2 billion.
Aramark purchased Avendra, a Rockville, MD-based supplier hotel and hospitality supplies for $1.35 billion. AmeriPride, a Minnetonka, MN-based uniform-rental and linen-supply business, was acquired by Aramark for $1 billion. Both transactions are forecasted to be finalized by the end of the year, pending customary closing conditions, The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
