Atlanta Airport Moves Towards On-Site Recycling

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in Atlanta, GA, announced plans to develop an on-site recycling facility.

The airport has contracted Green Energy and Development, Inc. to construct and maintain a fully enclosed recycling and composting facility. The 30-acre facility is targeted to be operational by 2019 and will be the first of its kind at any airport, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
