Cintas Names 2018 Janitor of the Year

Cintas Corp. has named Bob Cook of Sands Montessori School in Cincinnati, OH, winner of its 2018 Janitor of the Year contest.
The contest, now in its fifth year, called for elementary, middle, high school, and college students and staff to submit a short essay describing why their school’s janitor deserves the award. The public then voted for the top pick from 10 finalists selected by Cintas.
Cook, who received 446,000 online votes, was presented with a cash prize of US$5,000 and an additional $5,000 in Rubbermaid Commercial Products and Cintas products for his school. The nine runners-up will each receive $500 cash.
