City Council Honors Cleaning for a Reason Partner

The Belton, TX, city council recognized family-owned cleaning service Maids and Moore for participating in Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit program that provides free house cleaning to cancer patients, The Belton Journal reports. The business’s owners, who lost their grandmother to ovarian cancer, work with the nonprofit year-round.

Maids and Moore is one of more than 1,200 cleaning services that has donated free house cleaning to over 28,000 women since 2006. April 18 to 24 is Cleaning for a Reason Week, and the nonprofit organization plans to bring heightened awareness to its cause through business testimonials, contests, and giveaways.
