E. Coli Risk Sparks Ground Beef Recall

Creation Gardens, Inc. has issued a voluntary recall for 22,000 pounds of pre-packaged ground beef due to the risk of E. coli.

Creation Gardens issued the recall after routine testing revealed traces of the bacteria at the company’s Louisville, KY, production facility. The ground beef was shipped to more than 1,500 restaurants in four states.

So far no reports of illness have been linked to the potentially contaminated ground beef, CNN reports.
