Eastman Chemical Receives EPA Award

Eastman Chemical Co. has been named a recipient of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) 2019 ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year Sustained Excellence Award.

The annual award honors organizations for their commitment to the EPA’s ENERGY STAR program. Eastman was recognized for initiating more than 115 companywide energy-saving processes in the past 12 months, including an advanced circular recycling initiative and carbon renewal technology. This marks the eighth time Eastman has been named an ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year.
