Ecolab Acquires Georgia-Pacific’s Paper Chemicals Business

Ecolab, Inc. has signed an agreement to purchase the paper chemicals business of Georgia-Pacific, LLC, parent company of Georgia-Pacific Professional.

Ecolab’s purchase expands the company’s offerings in the paper towel and tissue market. Financial terms of the deal, which is expected to be finalized by the end of the year, were not disclosed.
