Ecolab Divests Equipment Care Business

Ecolab, Inc. has divested its equipment care division to Audax Private Equity.
According to Ecolab CEO Douglas Baker Jr., the move is part of Ecolab’s overall strategy to concentrate on its core business divisions. Financial terms of the sale, which is slated to close by the end of the year, were not announced.
