Ecolab Seeks Acquisition of Bioquell

Ecolab has made an offer to acquire Bioquell PLC, a provider of hydrogen peroxide vaper bio-decontamination systems and services for the life sciences and healthcare industries.

Headquartered in Andover, U.K., Bioquell’s 2017 sales were approximately US$37 million. Under the terms of Ecolab’s offer, Bioquell shareholders will receive 590 pence per share. If shareholders approve the transaction, it will close in the first quarter of 2019, subject to satisfaction of customary closing conditions and regulatory clearance.
