Georgia-Pacific Donates to Texas Fire Departments

Georgia-Pacific, LLC, parent company of Georgia-Pacific Professional, recently made donations to two fire departments in Texas.

The Diboll Volunteer Fire Department received US$10,000 and the Lufkin Fire Department received $8,000. The donations are part of Georgia-Pacific’s Bucket Brigade™ program, which contributes to fire departments in communities with Georgia-Pacific facilities. The program has contributed more than $2.2 million to more than 280 fire departments since its inception in 2006. The two fire departments will use the donations to purchase new protective clothing and safety equipment, reports KYKS radio.
