Georgia-Pacific to Open Supply-Chain Innovation Center

Georgia-Pacific, LLC, parent company of Georgia-Pacific Professional, will invest up to US$7 million to open a supply-chain innovation center in Atlanta, GA.

Georgia-Pacific will initially open a 15,000-square-foot facility in Atlanta’s TechSquare Labs, which will serve as a collaborative workspace for businesses ranging from multi-national corporations to startups, Industrial Distribution reports. The company plans to transition the innovation center to a dedicated 23,000-square-foot space within its Atlanta headquarters within the next few years. Georgia-Pacific will also open a 30,000-square-foot warehouse location for proof-of-concept testing.
