Georgia-Pacific to Upgrade Alabama Factory

Georgia-Pacific, LLC, parent company of Georgia-Pacific Professional, announced plans to invest more than US$120 million in its Naheola, AL, manufacturing facility.

The Alabama mill produces bath tissue, paper towels, and bleached cardboard. The upgrade project will add a new tissue machine and roll storage building, expanding the facility’s production capabilities. Georgia-Pacific anticipates the project will be completed by 2020.
