Jim Fischer, vice president of business development for Waxie Sanitary Supplypassed away May 13, 2019. He was 58.

Fischer was born and raised in southern Minnesota, where he graduated from Wabasso High School in Wabasso, MN, and attended Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, MN. He married Janice Lee Engel in 1984 and the couple relocated to Arizona in 1986.

Fischer began his career with Waxie in 1987 as a warehouse worker. He served in a variety of leadership positions throughout his 32 years with the company and was named the vice president of business development in 2012.

Fisher is survived by his wife, Janice, two children, April and Christian; his parents; and four siblings. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the McDowell Sonoran Conservatory.
