ISSA Members Join Human Rights Campaign Coalition

Five ISSA-member companies have joined the Human Rights Campaign’s (HRC) Business Coalition for the Equality Act.

The HRC’s coalition consists of more than 160 businesses that support the passage of H.R. 5 and S. 788, also known as “The Equality Act.” Introduced into the U.S. House of Representatives last month, this pending legislation seeks to amend existing federal civil rights laws to prohibit discrimination based on gender identity or sexual orientation.

The ISSA-affiliated organizations joining HRC’s coalition include:

• Dow Chemical Co.
• Ecolab, Inc.
• Office Depot, Inc.
• Procter & Gamble (P&G), parent company of Procter & Gamble Professional
• Sodexo.
