Johnson Controls Funds College Research Program

Johnson Controls, Inc. has expanded its funding agreement with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in Milwaukee, WI.
Johnson Controls will donate more than US$1 million to the university’s College of Engineering and Applied Science. The funds will be used to support absorbent glass mat lead-acid battery research and development.
Johnson Controls has funded battery research at the school since 2015, Milwaukee Business News reports.
