Johnson Controls, Inc. has reported first-quarter earnings of US$502 million, or $0.53 per share, up 11.1 percent from $452 million, or $0.48 per share, one year earlier.
Johnson Controls’ quarterly sales increased 1 percent year-on-year to $7.1 billion. The company’s power solutions division’s sales rose 9 percent to $1.9 billion, while its building technologies and solutions division’s sales dipped 2 percent to $5.18 billion.
