Kimberly-Clark Increases 2nd-Quarter Sales

Kimberly-Clark Corp., parent company of Kimberly-Clark Professional, has reported second-quarter net sales of US$4.6 billion for the quarter, an increase of 1 percent from the prior year.

Sales for the Kimberly-Clark Professional division increased 3 percent from the previous year to $900 million. The segment increased sales in North America 2 percent, while sales in developed markets outside North America climbed 7 percent, mainly in Western and Central Europe.
