Kleenmark Recertifies to CIMS-GB With Honors

Kleenmark has successfully completed recertification to the ISSA Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS) and CIMS-Green Building (CIMS-GB) criteria with Honors.
To earn CIMS recertification, Kleenmark underwent a comprehensive assessment by an accredited CIMS assessor. During the assessment, Franciscan St. Francis Health demonstrated its compliance with the five core principles of the standard: quality systems; service delivery; human resources; health, safety, and environmental stewardship; and management commitment.
Compliance with the CIMS-GB criteria illustrates Kleenmark’s commitment to delivering green and sustainable cleaning programs. The CIMS-GB designation helps the hospitals’ environmental service team provide the facility with what it needs to secure points under the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance―or LEED EB: O&M―Green Building Rating System, while greening operations overall.
In 2011, Kleenmark became the first commercial cleaning company in Wisconsin to receive CIMS-GB certification.
