Office Depot Divests China Operations

Office Depot, Inc. has sold its operations in China to Shanghai M&G Stationery, Inc.
The deal is part of Office Depot’s overall strategic initiative to strengthen its presence in the North American market. The company divested its Australian operations earlier this year. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, OPI reports.
