OSHA Partners With Robotic Industries Association

The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has signed an alliance with the Robotic Industries Association (RIA) and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH).

The two-year alliance calls for the organizations to work together to improve awareness of potential workplace hazards from robotic technologies. The alliance will develop best practices for worker interaction with robotic systems and generate educational resources on employee safety programs.
