P&G Increases 2nd-Quarter Revenue

Procter & Gamble (P&G), parent company of Procter & Gamble Professional, has reported a fiscal-second-quarter revenue of US$17.4 billion, an increase of 3.2 percent from a year earlier.

The company’s second-quarter earnings increased 10 percent from the previous year on an adjusted basis to $1.19 per share. P&G attributed the gains to accelerated sales growth and strong productivity cost savings.
