P&G’s 4th-Quarter Sales Increase 3%

Procter & Gamble (P&G), parent company of Procter & Gamble Professional, has reported a fiscal-fourth-quarter revenue of US$16.5 billion, an increase of 3 percent from a year earlier.

The company posted a profit in the third quarter of $1.89 billion, or $0.72 per share, down from $2.22 billion, or $0.82 per share, a year earlier. Organic sales for P&G’s health care division were up 1 percent, while sales in its beauty segment increased 7 percent.
