SCA Opens New Pulp Mill

SCA recently opened a new paper pulp mill in Timrå, Sweden.

Sweden’s King Carl XVI Gustaf was on hand for the opening ceremonies of the facility, along with 300 invited guests. SCA invested more than US$860 million in the production facility, which can process 900,000 tons of bleached softwood kraft pulp at full capacity, making it the largest mill of its kind in the world.
