Staples Board Names Robert Sulentic Independent Chairman

Staples, Inc.’s board of directors has elected Robert Sulentic independent chairman of the board, effective January 29.
Sulentic, the current president and CEO of CBRE Group, Inc., joined Staples’ board in 2007 and most recently served as the board’s lead independent director. He succeeds Ron Sargent, who is retiring from Staples’ board January 28.
