Tennant Inks Deal With Walmart

Tennant Co. has been awarded a contract to supply Walmart, Inc. with autonomous floor cleaning machines.

The deal calls for the global retailer to deploy more than 1,800 Tennant T7AMRs (Autonomous Mobile Robot) at select Walmart supercenters across the United States by the end of the year. Tennant’s floor machines will be outfitted with Brain Corp.’s self-driving operating system, BrainOS®. Financial details of the agreement were not announced.
