Training Rehabilitation & Development Institute (TRDI) has successfully completed certification to the ISSA Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS) and CIMS-Green Building (CIMS-GB) with honors.
To earn CIMS certification, the San Antonio, TX-based nonprofit corporation underwent a comprehensive assessment by an accredited CIMS assessor. During the assessment, TRDI demonstrated its compliance with the five core principles of the standard: quality systems; service delivery; human resources; health, safety, and environmental stewardship; and management commitment.
Compliance with the CIMS-GB criteria illustrates TRDI’s commitment to delivering green and sustainable cleaning programs. The CIMS-GB designation helps TRDI provide its customers with precisely what they need to secure points under the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance―or LEED EB: O&M―Green Building Rating System, while greening operations overall.
“Obtaining CIMS-GB certification with honors conveys our commitment to excellence by way of fine-tuning our approach and processes to allow for a consistent, high quality service,” said William Perry, TRDI senior operations manager. “Furthermore, it has ratified TRDI’s position amongst the leaders of the cleaning industry and enhanced confidence both within our organization and in our current and future partners.”
