Washing Systems Receives Sustainable Chemistry Award

Washing Systems, LLC has been named a recipient of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) 2019 Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge Award.

First introduced in 1996 in conjunction with the American Chemical Society, the EPA’s award honors companies for engineering sustainable chemicals, processes, and products. Washing Systems was recognized for its TRUpath™ alkali-free wash process. Washing Systems is the first winner of this award from the commercial laundry industry ad will be recognized in a ceremony hosted June 10 at the EPA’s headquarters in Washington, DC.
