Newell Brands Divests Winter Sports Business

Newell Brands, Inc., parent company of Rubbermaid Commercial Products, has divested its winter sports division to private equity firm Kohlberg & Co.

The deal includes Newell Brands’ K2 line of skis and its Ride brand of snowboards business. Financial details of the sale, which is expected to be finalized by the third quarter of this year, were not disclosed.
